The Gulf Coast Technical Institute (GCTI), originally founded as PAC Works in 2014, is a for-profit company that offers quality, interactive training solutions in a wide range of industrial crafts. GCTI provides learners with practical knowledge and skills, which can result in better jobs & higher wages. GCTI offers instructor-led and online training, hands-on lab activities, testing and certification (including NCCER and OSHA), apprenticeship program (registered by the US Dept. of Labor), pre-employment job skills testing, custom training/testing programs, staffing, and consulting.

Located in Baytown, Texas— a city in the heart of industrial operations along the Gulf Coast— GCTI provide technicians with the necessary knowledge and skills to do their jobs safely, efficiently, and effectively. Our courses are facilitated by highly-qualified instructors, many with 20+ years of industry experience. The instructor/learner ratio is low, offering learners maximum attention and advantage. Cesar Vazquez serves as the Laboratory Training Supervisor for GCTI. He brings over 10 years of industry experience to the job.

Gabriela Gamboa works as the administrative assistant for GCTI. She has over 10 years of experience working with NCCER.

John Dees is GCTI's Apprenticeship Sales Coordinator. He has worked in the petrochemical industry as a technical trainer and instructional developer for over 30 years.
